- The competent Nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors for side effects, and documents patient information accurately.
- Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources as needed.
- Meets competency expectations, attends orientation, and completes required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS within designated timeframes.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, RN licensure, and current certifications.
- Works night shifts (7PM-7AM), full-time, with ongoing competency and credentialing requirements.
