About the Job

We are seeking a Remote Junior Structural Engineering to join our international, project-driven team. This role is ideal for engineers who want to apply their technical knowledge in advanced analysis and simulation, contribute to training content, and collaborate with professionals on cutting-edge seismic and nonlinear modeling workflows.

You will support engineering modeling projects, develop and test technical materials, and have the opportunity to expand your skills using industry-standard tools and custom Python workflows.


Responsabilities

  • Perform structural analysis and modeling using SAP2000, Diana FEA, OpenSees, and Python
  • Support the preparation of design calculations, technical documents, and construction-related deliverables
  • Assist in developing and validating course content and workflows for nonlinear dynamic analysis, seismic design, and resilience-based engineering
  • Collaborate with architects, researchers, and developers across projects
  • Contribute to case studies, technical reviews, or short course modules as needed


Requirements

  • Experience in structural or civil engineering projects
  • Working knowledge of at least two of the following tools: SAP2000, Tekla, Python, MATLAB, Abaqus, ANSYS
  • Strong fundamentals in structural mechanics and dynamic behavior
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Clear communication skills and good technical writing abilities
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred (but equivalent experience accepted)
