Role
To assist members with account related matters, resolve problems and answer extensive questions through various remote delivery technologies, including video conferencing, e-mail and phone, while displaying an engaging, on-screen presence, positive attitude and effective communication style. Provide information with respect to credit union products and services.
Knowledge And Skills
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

- Ability to operate general office equipment, such as copier, computer and other credit union provided equipment, software and technologies.
- Be able to handle multiple, conflicting deadlines and projects.
- Ability to generate essential reports, interpret data, and calculate ratios including the resolution of problems and incorrect information.
- Properly identify acceptable forms of personal identification, with an awareness of possible fraud and/or forgery.
- Have knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including the basic processes of other credit union departments and branches.
- Understand negotiable instruments and the corresponding clearing processes.
- Working knowledge of lending analysis techniques.
