The Partnerships Analyst is primarily tasked with assisting the Analytics and Partnerships team in it’s ongoing efforts to develop and enhance strategies to drive value to our partners. The Partnerships Analyst will be responsible for helping cultivate leads, continually research our marketplace and fans, develop best practices for creating recaps with our partners, and develop other reports for Senior Management. This position requires a high work-ethic, an analytical mind, creative thinking, and a passion for telling stories through data.

Major Responsibilities

  • Research and discover new opportunities for the partnership team including, but not limited to; conducting category and industry research, creating company profiles for prospecting potential partners, and researching and ideating new inventory, software, and tools for use to create added value for partners
  • Develop strategies with Partnerships and Analytics to provide key insights and support for the team including, but not limited to; fan and partner insights, KPIs and dashboards for partners, pipeline reports for Senior Management, and pitch decks and recap reports
  • Create sales decks, one-sheeters, and go-to-market collateral for pitches in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Convert complex analytical insights into easily digestible data points to better frame our club’s story and unique selling proposition within the marketplace
  • Develop innovative dashboards and database automations that can easily tell a complex story to decision makers
  • Collaborate on multiple cross-functional projects to help identify areas of improvement for the club, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders
  • Lead club efforts to clean and maintain Partnership related data including, but not limited to; inventory, consumer and syndicated research, and Partnership KPI’s
  • Work closely with Partnership team to train and update staff on CRM best practices
  • Work closely with Partnerships and Marketing teams to optimize and track value on Partnership Marketing efforts
  • Optimize pricing and inventory of all Partnership related products
  • Collaborate with Finance team to ensure regular, updated collections information
  • Help close interdepartmental and internal/external knowledge gaps with research findings
  • Support and innovate on-going revenue and database modeling efforts
  • Assist with everyday processes and other long-term projects as assigned

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data science, economics, or related field
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in corporate partnerships, marketing, and advertising preferred
  • Experience working with a Sports CRM software module (KORE Software, EngageRM, SponsorCX, etc.) preferred
  • Experience working with market research tools (YouGov, Nielsen, Qualtrics) preferred
  • Experience working with Partnership evaluation tools (Trajektory, Zoomph, Blinkfire) preferred
  • Knowledge of current sports partnership landscape, technology, and trends
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (including, but not limited to Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps) preferred
  • Ability to conduct rigorous data analysis and transform results into high-quality models and easy-to-comprehend presentations
  • Experience designing and analyzing first-party survey data
  • Technological aptitude; an ability to troubleshoot and learn complex systems to solve problems and questions
  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a very strong work ethic
  • Basic knowledge of the following programming languages preferred: SQL, R, Python, and/or HTML
