Position Overview
Plans, executes, monitors, and evaluates the operations within the medical center, ensuring operational excellence that supports the organization's strategic focus on quality, service, sustainability, Experience of Care, Experience of Work, and Operational Excellence that meets the overall strategic direction of Sutter Health. Is responsible for implementing and monitoring policies and procedures that ensure high-quality, efficient and compassionate patient care. Incumbent will work collaboratively with the medical center leadership team, key leaders across the enterprise, and ancillary leaders to promote planning, innovation, and problem solving to align back with system, division, and medical center strategy. Has accountability for the assigned areas in the medical center, including patient satisfaction, quality of care, financial goals (Incumbent will have financial accountability for budget and revenue for the assigned areas), and responsibility of managing capital expenditures.
Education
Job Description:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
Typical Experience
10 years recent relevant experience
Skills And Knowledge
Demonstrated knowledge in areas of healthcare and hospital operations and financing. Prior experience in leading multidisciplinary, complex healthcare environments is required.
Demonstrated record of developing highly effective working relationships with hospital teams, nursing leadership and physicians.
Communication skills including oral, written and presentation.
Effective leadership skills and decision-making skills.

Pay Range is $115.50 to $184.80 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
