Job Summary

The Human Resource Administrative Coordinator will greet and direct incoming visitors and team members. Will handle specialized administrative tasks including managing and overseeing various employee records, answering phones, generating reports and handling employee questions.

  • Responsible for providing the first impression of the Human Resources department by providing the proper warm welcoming of all visitors and team members into the area.
  • Responsible for controlling the traffic flow to other human resource individuals and offices.
  • Responsible for handling employee questions as they arise or directing them to the proper human resources representative to handle.
  • Responsible for the administration of the John Soules Foods electronic communication system postings production results, job postings, service award recipients, birthday recognition, safety topics, food safety topics and other important business aspect messages.
  • Responsible to keep HR training rooms orderly daily
  • Responsible for distribution of employee equipment such as boots, locker assignment, and other assigned equipment.
  • Responsible for making employee identification badges and assigning the appropriate access levels.
  • Responsible for HR office supply inventory, boot inventory and ordering.
  • Responsible for the JSF Newborn Baby Blanket Program recognizing employee newborn children.
  • Responsible for issuing temporary employee identification/timecard badges for team members, visitors and third part contractors.
  • Responsible for translation of documents and employee conversations as needed.
  • Responsible for distribution of employee memorial bereavement boxes and handling of inventory levels.
  • Responsible for all other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications (Required)
  • Ability to interact and remain calm in what can be high pressure, tension, chaotic employee instances at times.
  • Microsoft Skills, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Intermediate Excel.
  • Ability to work in an environment that might change every minute of every day.
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Organizing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
  • High school graduate; some college preferred.
  • Office clerical experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • 2+ years in a human resources department a plus.
  • Ability to function in a HRIS and Timekeeping system but not mandatory
