Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description:

The Financial Analyst provides critical financial and statistical analysis to assess the financial and operational impacts of management decisions and proposals. This role is responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying opportunities for operational improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  Provide analytical operations support, using a variety of data sources to inform management decisions.

• 
  

  Analyze data to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and revise existing programs.

• 
  

  Address cost control and management issues, recommending actions to resolve them.

• 
  

  Prepare strategic and operational studies to improve system performance.

• 
  

  Ensure reporting data integrity and verify accuracy.

• 
  

  Assist with the implementation of new systems.

• 
  

  Comfortable working with large data sets.

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Required).

• 
  

  5+ years of experience in healthcare finance or analysis, including working with hospital clinical/claim data and large databases. Proficiency with Access, Excel, or SQL (Required).

• 
  

  OR 10+ years of experience in healthcare finance with extensive database management and analysis experience (Required).

• 
  

  Proforma and Cost Accounting Required.

• 
  

  1+ year of experience with healthcare contract management/reimbursement systems and knowledge of reimbursement methodologies (Preferred).

• 
  

  Strong knowledge of Tableau and SQL (Preferred).
