Our client has been a pillar in strengthening communities for over 70 years and is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. This is a key role that will help drive continued growth and long-term financial sustainability.

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, policies, and operations. This includes managing accounting practices, maintaining fiscal records, preparing financial reports in accordance with GAAP, and cultivating relationships with financial institutions. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and operational excellence to support the company's mission and growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities Of The CFO

  • Strategic leadership- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement organization’s financial, operational and growth strategies.
  • Develop financial models to guide decision-making on retail site expansion.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting and compliance.
  • Lead cash forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury strategies that maximize cash flow liquidity.
  • Supervise purchasing function to optimize costs while ensuring quality standards and implementing the best supply chain practices.
  • Lead financial analysis and funding strategies for new programs, service lines and community initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications Of The CFO

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (MBA, Master’s and/or CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience. Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience
  • Retail and/or non-profit experience REQUIRED
  • The ideal CFO candidate will have a passion for automation and proven success with implementing processes (ERP implementation experience is a plus!)
  • MUST be a team player, with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality
