THE ROLE

Our Blue Ops team specializes in strategic M&A advisory and business growth in private equity, investment banking, portfolio companies, and more. The Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading delivery of Analytics projects for clients across multiple industry sectors. The Analytics Manager may also advise clients on business and analytics system matters in partnership with the technology team and will be responsible for leading and developing project teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data needs across the organization.
  • Ensure the availability of data to support organizational objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop analysts, developers, and partners on best practices for data and business intelligence (BI).
  • Provide training on cloud-based data management and analytics solutions.
  • Coach analysts on data analysis and BI techniques.
  • Investigate business problems through interviews with subject matter experts, and model potential solutions.
  • Evaluate resolution strategies, recommend improvements, and propose new processes.
  • Work with Change Management to develop communication and implementation plans for changes.
  • Lead BI projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Mentor BI team members, promoting continuous improvement and innovation in reporting practices.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring successful delivery of upgrades and initiatives.
  • Develop realistic project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration, manage risks, and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops to align stakeholders with project goals and data quality expectations.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled at managing client relationships and providing thought leadership on data strategy and analytics.
  • Experience in defining project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Drive change management to ensure smooth adoption of data-driven initiatives.

  • Undergraduate B.S. Degree
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Data Analysis, Reporting, & Governance
  • Proficient in cloud-based data platforms such as Azure DataLake, AWS, and Snowflake.
  • Advanced expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Familiar with M365 applications and their integration with data platforms.
  • Skilled in SQL, Python, R, and other scripting languages for data manipulation, automation, and querying.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.
  • Consulting & Client Engagement
  • Strong background in consulting with clients to identify business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Skilled in conducting workshops, training, and knowledge transfer for clients and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data analysis.
  • Proficient in project management and familiar with tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics (preferred).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices in data analytics or machine learning deployment.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing projects in dynamic environments.

  • Work with clients to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business goals.
  • Develop strategic insights and actionable recommendations based on data findings.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders to define and document business processes and data flows.

THE PACKAGE

The base salary range for this position may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and commission incentives. Individual pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and education. While the range listed reflects the target compensation for new hires, we may exercise flexibility to accommodate exceptional qualifications or circumstances.
