Engineering Technical Specialist (contract)

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, implementing, and ensuring compliance with engineering tools, processes, and standards. They will provide training and support for the integration of engineering designs while ensuring regulatory requirements are met. Additionally, the candidate will identify user access roles, produce tip sheets, manage configuration changes, assess compliance, and implement product standards across business units. Representing company interests on external committees and adapting external standards for internal use are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement engineering tools, processes, and standards
• Provide training and support for utilizing processes and tools
• Support the integration of engineering designs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify and validate user access roles
• Produce tip sheets for tool utilization
• Manage configuration changes and perform compliance assessments
• Implement product standards across business units
• Represent company interests on external standards committees

Skills

• Strong understanding of engineering tools and processes
• Excellent communication skills for providing training and support
• Ability to analyze data to validate performance metrics
• Proficiency in coordinating organizational requirements to meet business needs

This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $45.50/hour - $48.78/hour
