Job Description
The University of Missouri’s Football Program is seeking an Analyst to assist the football coaching staff with defense and other tasks, such as film breakdown, data analysis, scouting reports and strategic insights to enhance game preparation and player development.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing detailed scouting reports and weekly game plans to the defensive staff that include breaking down game film of strategies and player tendencies;
Analyzing opponent and team film using video editing software to implement various strategies to increase competitive advantage that includes formations and situational strategies;
Assisting in the preparation of practice, game plans, and opponent analysis to ensure the highest level of operation and efficiency;
Tracking and charting defensive efficiency metrics and performance trends by working collaboratively with other analysts and graduate assistants;
Supporting the recruiting staff through evaluation data and film analysis to better scout upcoming talent;
Maintaining confidentiality of team information and game strategies;
Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including adhering to all Departmental, University, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulation; and
Performing other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach, the assigned sport administrator, or the Director of Athletics.
Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a NCAA Division I Football Program is preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
