The Business Analyst - Product Data sits in the IPS PIM Team within the Digital Experience Platform team at Regal Rexnord. This organization is dedicated to delivering innovative and transformative technology capabilities that drive customer loyalty, profitable growth, and operational excellence of the IPS segment (Industrial Powertrain Solutions).

Within this context, the criticality of reliable, quality Product data can’t be overstated, and this role plays a pivotal part of aligning the business outcomes to the technical implementation of our initiatives focused on optimizing product data across our technology landscape. Core responsibilities of this role include managing product data updates, syndication, enrichment and mastering processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the integrated ecosystem.

The role involves close collaboration with product managers, marketing teams, and IT to gather and implement product data requirements, streamline data processes, and enhance e-commerce performance. By maintaining high data quality and integrating customer feedback, the Business Analyst- Product Data helps improve customer experience and satisfaction, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving the segment's overall success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Product Data Management: Maintain product information within the PIM system, updating attributes, descriptions, and images. Ensure product data is accurate, complete, and consistent for e-commerce performance.
  • System Implementation and Management: Work with Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems to streamline data processes and workflows.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Through facilitation, interviews and system analysis author documents (business requirements, functional requirements, acceptance criteria) to drive consensus and alignment on the problems and solutions required by the business.
  • Synthesize business requirements into technical implementation details and artifacts like process flow diagrams and acceptance criteria to enable efficient delivery of technical solutions within the broader Product Data ecosystem.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users as applicable.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create reports and dashboards to track product data performance and identify trends.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct audits to ensure data quality and works cross functionally to resolve discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure product data complies with industry standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Implement improvements to enhance team performance and data management practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years managing product data
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PIM systems, e-commerce platforms, and data management tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large data sets and derive actionable insights using tools like SQL and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing product data and spotting inconsistencies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to present data findings clearly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills to address data-related challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Agile: Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban preferred.

Based In Milwaukee, WI Is Preferred.

Expected Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 annually.
