Description

The Supply Chain Planner builds and maintains detailed production schedules and material supply plans for King Juice’s many customers. This role is critical to the organization’s success in meeting customers’ needs through a realistic plan that Operations & Supply Chain can execute. The role interacts with numerous cross-functional team members and external business partners. Strong communication, attention to details, negotiation, and planning skills are essential.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains an 8 week production schedule
  • Manages product supply based on capacity constrains and lead times
  • Communicates supply concerns with stakeholders
  • Communicates with Sales to ensure product availability for Sales Orders
  • Coordinates scheduling priorities with Operations Team
  • Leads in Operations meetings to review production schedules and incoming materials
  • Maintains accurate data in ERP and Scheduling software to provide the best plan possible
  • Maintains and reports Schedule attainment and other service metrics
  • Plans the production for co-packers
  • Provides material forecast to appropriate customers monthly.
  • Organize, plan and manage inventories and lead-time to maximize customer on-time delivery and machine/operator efficiency while factoring in overall planning strategies.
  • Own, improve and maintain all material planning parameters in requirements in ERP system.
  • Conduct daily/weekly physical inventory counts and verify quantities to maintain proper stock levels.
  • Elevate supplier issues relating to quality, delivery and pricing to be addressed
  • Work with Receiving, Vendor and Accounting to resolve invoice, inventory and supplier delivery issues.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-pace environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to analyze data and complex problems, and make recommendations to all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous planning and scheduling experience
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certifications
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing
  • Food and beverage industry experience
