The product operations analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the operational performance of the products and services. This role focuses on collecting and interpreting operational data, identifying opportunities for process improvements, creates presentations and ensuring the products and services comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards. The product operational analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and customer experience of the product offerings.
The primary purpose of the product operations analyst is to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the product management team, enabling them to make informed decisions that optimize the operational performance of the utility's products and services.

Process Optimization
Bachelor's Degree in technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.

Operational Data Collection And Analysis
- Gather and analyze operational data related to the products and services, such as usage patterns, service reliability, maintenance activities, and resource utilization.
Process Optimization
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational processes supporting the utility's products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product performance, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
- Comprehensive inventory management, lifecycle optimization, utilization analysis, cost control, risk mitigation, compliance adherence, and data-driven reporting to support effective product asset management and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze the utilization and allocation of resources (e.g., personnel, equipment, infrastructure) required to support the utility's product operations.
- Provide recommendations on resource optimization to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery.
- Monitor the operational performance of the utility's products and services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Identify and address any operational issues that may impact regulatory compliance.
- Monitor the operations of the product (assets, etc.) to ensure optimal operational performance
- Investigate and analyze product-related incidents, outages, and service disruptions to determine root causes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the product management and operations teams and/or 3rd party vendors to implement corrective actions and prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain operational performance dashboards and reports for the product management team and other stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of operational data.
- Work closely with the product team, customer insights and journey, marketing, sales, and operating company customer service teams to provide data-driven insights and support product-related initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations and create presentations effectively to various stakeholders, including senior management.
Bachelor's Degree in technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience Required Of The Position
- Analyst I: 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Analyst II: 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Analyst III: 4-6 years of relevant professional experience
- Analyst Sr: 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
