Position Summary

The Project Analyst will play a critical role within the Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the successful delivery of projects through business analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis, reporting, and coordination. This position will also provide direct support to the Chief Strategy and Growth officer on a variety of high-priority initiatives, including ad-hoc analysis, strategic presentations, and special assignments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strategic perspective.

Essential Functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of projects within the PMO portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Perform business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and documentation of business needs and functional specifications.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities and assist in the development of streamlined solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories or project deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support strategic initiatives for the Chief of Strategy through research, data analysis, competitive intelligence, and executive-level presentation development.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), process maps, decision logs, and user guides.
  • Prepare dashboards, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership, synthesizing complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Maintain and administer the PMO SharePoint site; organize content, manage access, and implement enhancements to improve usability and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate, Excel macros, or SharePoint workflows to enhance efficiency.

Coordinate project meetings, document meeting minutes, track follow-ups, and support cross-functional communication across teams

Qualifications And Experience

Experience/ Training/ Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a Project Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within a PMO or strategic environment.

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and automation tools is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, ClickUp) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality when working with strategic initiatives

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and gap analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with strong Excel skills and experience building executive presentations.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional professional verbal / written skills with strong presentation skills
  • Requires excellent follow-through skills, member relations skills, and sound business judgment. Ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate reliable records.
  • Ability to speak and hear to give and receive instructions and information to others in person and over the telephone. Other language skills helpful.
  • Requires good memory, knowledge retention skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and duties effectively.

The targeted hourly rate range is $23.63 per hour to $29.53 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications and specialized skills.
