As we pursue an exciting path for growth, we’re seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Chief of Staff to join our team and help take our business and marketing operations to the next level. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in operations or project management, who’s eager to play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling a purpose-driven consulting firm.

As Chief of Staff, you’ll work closely with the founder and leadership team to ensure daily operations run seamlessly, optimize workflows, drive high-impact projects from concept to execution, and bring clarity and structure to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We’re looking for someone who’s exceptionally organized, proactive, and ready to roll up their sleeves to get things done. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a self-starter who loves taking initiative, takes full ownership of outcomes, and gets energized by turning complex into simple.

Our team is based primarily in California, but valuing the flexibility of remote work, this role is open to qualified candidates in California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, or Wyoming. What You’ll Do

  • Develop & Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create, document, and continuously refine SOPs and internal best practices to ensure consistency, clarity, and efficiency across all business functions.
  • Optimize & Execute Business Operations: Identify and implement improvements to internal workflows, tools, and systems that enhance day-to-day operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and support the company’s next phase of growth.
  • Own Sales & Marketing Operations: Own the day-to-day execution of marketing operations by managing vendor relationships and overseeing project timelines, deliverables, talking points, and coordination of inputs and review cycles across campaigns, webinars, newsletters, and other key initiatives.
  • Turn Strategy into Action: Translate high-level goals across all functions (HR, Finance, Technology etc.) into actionable plans and ensure progress is tracked across the organization.
  • Lead Project Management: Oversee and drive cross-functional, high-priority projects—from planning through execution—ensuring they’re delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage Internal & External Communications: Plan and coordinate internal meetings, company events, and client engagements.
  • Own Special Initiatives: Take ownership of strategic and operational projects assigned to you that drive the growth and efficiency of the company.

What Will Make You a Good Fit for This Position:

  • You have 2–4 years of experience in operations, project management, or management consulting - ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
  • You thrive on execution - taking ownership of projects, following through on details, and ensuring things get done to a high standard.
  • You have a strong instinct for improving systems, building new and optimizing existing processes, and building efficient workflows that support team effectiveness.
  • You’re tech-savvy and excited by leveraging automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
  • You’ve successfully managed multiple projects at once, balancing priorities and driving outcomes across different workstreams.
  • You’re a proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs, removes roadblocks, and takes the initiative to move work forward.
  • You can work independently with a hands-on, action-oriented mindset, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • You’re comfortable using platforms like Excel, PowerPoint, and Asana, and can quickly adopt new tools that improve execution and team collaboration.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in business, operations, or a related discipline.
