Job Overview:

The Master Data Pricing Analyst role is primarily responsible for entering approved pricing requests into our KDP SAP systems. The pricing analyst will also collaborate with our KDP DSD sales teams to understand their pricing / promotional strategy and provide insight into pricing processes as needed. In addition, the pricing analyst will be responsible for creating ad-hoc pricing reports to provide insight to our business stakeholders and internal teams. Furthermore, the pricing analyst will work with the Master Data pricing team to oversee the day-to-day operation and troubleshoot / resolve pricing discrepancies.

This position will report to the Master Data Pricing Supervisor and will be based out of the Frisco, TX office operating on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing and auditing approved pricing requests from the business before completing in SAP which includes analyzing for reasonability; complete, correct, and consistent as compared to previous pricing
  • Responsible for being the single source of contact for our KDP DSD sales team (for their assigned area) as it relates to pricing processes and pricing issues
  • Responsible for providing ad-hoc pricing reports to business stakeholders as well as analysis of said reports as needed
  • Responsible for collaborating with other Master Data pricing team members on day-to-day business and pricing activities and deliverables
  • Responsible for collaborating with other Master Data and business teams to assist with answering pricing process related questions and helping to root cause and resolve pricing issues
  • Responsible for participating in M&A and business-related projects as assigned by the Master Data leadership team
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to KDP SOX controls and best practices


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 2 or more years of professional work experience in the field of Finance or General Business
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, advanced analytical skills, quality, and strong organizational skills
  • An understanding of how to manipulate large datasets, combined with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analysis both quantitative and qualitative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (using advanced functions in MS Excel such as pivot tables, V-lookups and functions)
  • Has intellectual curiosity; ability to dig into root causes and suggest process improvements
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
