With general supervision, this position is responsible for participating in the design, development and implementation of information assurance programs and related procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the development, delivery, and maintenance of engaging cybersecurity awareness training programs for all employees.
  • Support the creation and execution of simulated phishing campaigns to test employee vigilance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and reporting dashboards to track the effectiveness of awareness initiatives and phishing campaign performance.
  • Help prepare and present clear, concise reports on training completion rates, phishing click-through rates, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to stay informed about emerging threats and integrate relevant information into training materials.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating cybersecurity awareness training content ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide support for cybersecurity awareness communications, including newsletters, intranet updates, and posters.
  • Gather feedback from end-users to continuously improve training programs and materials.
  • Participate in special projects and presentations related to cybersecurity awareness and education as needed.
  • Able to perform basic project management abilities to support governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and cyber-related initiatives.
  • Learn and apply best practices in adult learning and instructional design within the context of cybersecurity.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and compliance documents related to the IT environment
  • May function in a leadership role to less experienced support and professional staff.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree in a related discipline and three or more years of progressive professional experience in information assurance or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate a general understanding of information assurance principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Must have experience organizing, planning, scheduling, conducting, and managing work assignments to meet project milestones or established completion dates.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
    • the ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of technical and administrative problems;
    • good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings;
    • good interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals; and
    • good computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
  • May require Information Assurance certification: Security+, CISSP, CISM, or GSLC preferred.
