Learn more about this role and how you can begin driving your career forward! The Payroll Analyst’s primary responsibilities is processing payroll in Workday Key Job Elements

• Responsible for processing domestic payroll in Workday on a timely and accurate basis
• Analyze payrolls to ensure proper handling of earnings and deductions
• Coordinate the handling of garnishments, support orders, levies, etc.
• Update and maintain payroll and other financial records including preparing account reconciliations and processing journal entries
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal payroll tax regulations
• Manage responsibilities with the third-party payroll tax service provider and applicable tax files
• Review and implement legislative and regulatory requirements as well as corporate policy revisions for payroll
• Assist with various audits
• Generate reports from Workday
• Work with a team and communicate effectively with employees, cross-functional groups and third parties
• Assist employees with payroll related issues
• Provide backup support in the absence of payroll team members
• Assist with special projects
• Identify and implement process improvements

Required Qualifications/Education/Skills

• High school diploma required
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
• Knowledge of payroll, taxes and garnishments
• Knowledge of payroll processing and related payroll taxes
• Experience with Excel and Word

•Capability of organization, prioritization and attention to detail •Effective oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work with a team
• Data analysis, conflict resolution and decision making

Travel •Less than 3% travel required
