What You’ll Do
As Director, you’ll lead multiple project teams and oversee construction operations in your assigned market sector. You’ll serve as both a hands-on leader and a strategic partner, helping shape our future while mentoring the next generation of construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Lead and develop project teams (PMs, Superintendents, and Engineers)
- Provide financial oversight and drive project profitability
- Guide project planning, scheduling, subcontracting, and risk management
- Collaborate with estimating, business development, and ownership teams
- Build strong relationships with clients, subs, and industry partners
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team growth within your division
- Represent HC Company’s identity and values in everything you do
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, specific Director experience
- Proven leadership of high-performing teams on large, complex jobs
- Strong financial, scheduling, and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with on-the-ground execution
- Passion for mentorship, innovation, and collaborative leadership
- Proficiency in construction software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
