Electronic Health Records Administrator (Full Time)
Location: Olathe, KS
This is a full time, exempt position. EHR Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring their organization's electronic health record systems are well maintained and operate reliably. The Systems Administrator will support quality improvement and grant requests through the creation of relevant reports. The incumbent will also assist with creating reports related to regulatory documentation compliance and summative agency evaluations. Incumbent will be expected to function as a professional point of contact for program leads, fielding requests for information and working with the Director of Clinical Compliance and Lotus Programming, and the Vice President of Clinical and Operational Innovation to prioritize responses and projects based on department objectives. Incumbent will help with accreditation activities as needed annually, assisting with periodic reviews of accreditation compliance at the discretion of the Director of Clinical Compliance and Lotus Programming, and the Vice President of Clinical and Operational Innovation.
Tasks are performed under the direction of the Director of Clinical Compliance and Lotus Programming of KidsTLC. Work performance is reviewed through informal supervision, formal supervision, reports, and evaluations. Incumbent to this position is a KidsTLC employee and subject to the KidsTLC personnel policies and procedures.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COGNITIVE DEMANDS
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SQL Writing, Electronic Database systems, industry specific software, industry specific systems and other web-based software programs, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support of the EHR database.
- Collaborates with end users to understand reporting requirements and uses the available tools to create a variety of simple to complex reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
- Recommend software and hardware enhancements.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades.
- Diagnose and correct computer systems issues.
- Communicate with and listen to all levels of staff across all programs.
- Provide support for the administration of the EHR in conjunction with other department members.
- Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills when addressing staff regarding documentation issues.
- Prioritize work against strategic objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Experience in electronic database administration.
- Experience in health care electronic medical records preferred.
