This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. - Relying on a predefined playbook or making minor adjustments to existing content
- Waiting for guidance or external input before taking action
- Conforming to the slow pace of traditional educational systems
- Writing about conventional school models that adhere to the status quo
- Focusing on low-impact policy work or generic grant writing

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Proven experience managing an extensive written project of 100+ pages over several months
- Exceptional academic and narrative writing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Adept at working independently and remotely with minimal oversight
- Experience with charter school operations and processes, ideally through involvement in charter applications or working with charter authorizers and operators
- Reside in the United States
- Advanced degree in education, public policy, or a related area
- Experience in charter school grant writing
- Knowledgeable about education policy in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, or Florida
