We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and professional Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who can multi-task and is enthusiastic about their work. We are a high-tech, fast-paced, privately owned dental practice. This position is full-time. Job Details
- You must possess 2+ years of experience in dental assisting.
- This EFDA position entails working chairside with 4-handed general dentistry (placing restorations, sealants, taking digital xrays, coronal polishing, Itero scanning, dental photography, assisting with PVS and alginate impressions, etc.), assisting with oral surgery as needed.
- You will be responsible for the breakdown/disinfection and set-up of operatories, sterilization of instruments, weekly maintenance of equipment, assisting doctors with all scopes of dentistry, office maintenance, etc.
- Benefits include 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months of employment. After 1 year of employment: 2 weeks paid vacation and 3 paid sick days, and 401K at 3% unmatched PLUS year-end profit sharing.
- Valid PA EFDA license.
- Digital office - requires the ability to utilize a computer and a variety of software applications.
- Must possess excellent communication skills & work well with others to execute common goals.
