SUMMARY

The Director of Product Testing will be leading and scaling our Quality Assurance function across our SEW products. This role is critical to ensure that our SEW products are released with the highest level of quality, performance, and reliability. You will own the end-to-end testing strategy, lead a team of QA engineers, and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and DevOps teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with SEW product and engineering goals.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of QA engineers.
• Drive a culture of quality, test automation, and continuous improvement.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Oversee test planning, test case development, and execution for all SEW Product software releases.
• Champion test automation strategies to reduce manual testing and increase test coverage.
• Ensure testing covers functionality, regression, integration, performance, and security aspects.

Technology & Tools

• Evaluate and implement modern QA tools and frameworks, especially those compatible with .NET (e.g., Selenium, NUnit, SpecFlow, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Maintain test environments and CI/CD pipeline integration for seamless test execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and delivery expectations.
• Provide visibility into quality metrics, bug trends, and testing progress to stakeholders.

Process Improvement

• Propose improvements for faster, more reliable releases.
• Establish and track quality KPIs to measure success and guide improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience testing .NET applications (web, desktop, or API-based).
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow).
• Proficiency with QA and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, JMeter, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
