In this role, you will work closely with external contract manufacturers (copackers) to ensure production schedules are met, projects are prioritized effectively, and manufacturing performance supports business growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in planning, purchasing, and product development to help launch new products and drive cost-effective solutions.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to support our supply chain and production operations. In this role, you will work closely with external contract manufacturers (copackers) to ensure production schedules are met, projects are prioritized effectively, and manufacturing performance supports business growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in planning, purchasing, and product development to help launch new products and drive cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain monthly production schedules based on forecasts and raw material availability.
- Monitor contract manufacturers’ performance to ensure schedule adherence, service level targets, and quality expectations.
- Support project related to new product introductions, product transitions, and cost-savings initiatives.
- Maintain close working relationships with contract manufacturers.
- Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, planning, R&D, and quality to ensure operational alignment.
- Implement cost-effective measures for optimal business practices.
- Support contract negotiation and documentation in coordination with the Production Planning Manager and Procurement.
- Collaborate with the contract manufacturing network to ensure capacity and capabilities align with business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, production planning, or external manufacturing coordination.
- Familiarity with contract manufacturing operations or third-party production environments.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- ERP system experience a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to work onsite at our Orem, UT location.
