We are seeking an inspiring and visionary Senior Associate Creative Director (Sr ACD) for our in-house Creative Studio. Leverage your deep background in advertising, art direction and graphic design to bring the Starbucks brand to life in innovative ways. The Sr ACD leads internal teams and external agencies in the development of complex and wide-ranging omni-channel creative executions. The ACD brings an inspiring team-first attitude and is equally comfortable pitching concepts and guiding the ideas of others into brilliant and impactful creative assets.

As a senior associate creative director, you will…
- Help to shape the creative vision and goals for advertising at Starbucks
- Lead creative concepting and execution, ensuring a cohesive and elevated brand expression across channels and platforms.
- Guide the work of agency partners and internal teams in campaign concepting, execution and production
- Provide creative direction and oversight across multiple disciplines—video, animation, copy, graphic design, art direction, digital experiences and more
- Present creative work to internal teams, cross-functional partners, and executives– clearly articulating creative vision and strategic foundations.
- Serve as a leader within our in-house Creative Studio, cultivating a strong team culture, and inspiring creative excellence
- Manage a team of direct reports overseeing their day-to-day workload and guiding their growth and development
- 8+ years progressive experience in design/marketing/advertising at an agency or in-house studio
- Bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, advertising or equivalent job-related experience
- A multi-faceted portfolio showcasing high quality creative expertise across a variety of mediums and channels within branding, advertising, social media, product, corporate comms, etc.
- A comprehensive understanding of omnichannel marketing and cultural/industry trends
- Strong people skills: able to lead and motivate creative individuals and teams
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
