Construction Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to oversee and coordinate operational workflows, manage infrastructure-related issues such as construction and operations damage claims, administer internal applications including ticketing and workflow management systems along with report management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Workflow Management: Develop, document, and optimize operational workflows to ensure efficient program execution across departments. Monitor and adjust processes for scalability and effectiveness.
  • Construction and Operations Damage Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for construction and operations related incidents. Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to assess damage, initiate repairs, and track resolution progress.
  • Application Oversight: Manage the configuration and daily operations of key platforms such as ticketing systems, metric reporting, coordination of workflows around drop bury and bore work, and project management tools. Ensure tools meet the needs of stakeholders and that users are trained appropriately.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, construction, IT, operations, and facilities teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create regular reports on workflow efficiency, construction and operations damage incidents, and application performance. Use data insights to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and progress is transparent. This role will also communicate with local third party vendors as well as customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management roles.
  • Experience managing technical or operational workflows and tools such as ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Familiarity with construction project processes or facilities management is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
  • Strong use of Microsoft office products such as excel, word, and power point

Preferred Skills

  • PMP or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience working in environments with ongoing infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
