What You’ll Do:
- Greet visitors and residents with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring they feel welcome and valued
- Answer and direct incoming calls, responding to inquiries or transferring them to the appropriate department
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing mail, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with resident check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth and efficient transitions
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and resident requests
- Coordinate with caregiving staff to communicate any messages or resident needs
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials (e.g., brochures, forms)
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll be interacting with residents, families, staff, and visitors regularly
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for customer service
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office or similar software
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- A positive attitude, with the ability to stay calm and professional in all situations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
