Role

To direct the operations of a Retail Branch Credit Union facility, insuring the branch meets the organization's financial, operational, service and growth objectives. Has lending authority per credit union policy.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A two year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of an extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature.
  • Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level.
  • Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit union operations, practices and procedures.
  • Strong management and leadership skills; ability to work in a strong, collaborative team environment.
  • Above average listening, communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability.
  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and goal oriented.
  • Able to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Professionalism in appearance, dress and attitude is required.
  • Must be able to operate related computer software and business equipment.
