POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Exempt

OUR OPPORTUNITY:

Develop and implement effective strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency while fostering a culture of high employee owner engagement, continuous improvement and safety. Responsible for both strategy and oversight of daily manufacturing and production operations. Drives operational excellence through driving productivity improvements, ensuring safety and compliance and supporting Wildeck’s growth. As part of the senior leadership team, collaborates with engineering, sales, finance and people operations to ensure that operational strategies align with Wildeck’s vision and goals.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all plant operations, quality assurance, maintenance and facilities, procurement and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the organization which includes evaluating and implementing new technologies and automation strategies, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
  • Ensure on-time, cost effective manufacturing while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to foster a culture of high performance.
  • Manage the operating budget and capital expenditures to maximize profitability and operational performance.
  • Drive cost savings through active participation in continuous improvement throughout the department, improving processes and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and other regulatory requirements and industry standards to mitigate risk.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Fifteen years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with a minimum of five years a senior leadership role preferably within the material handling industry and/or durable goods manufacturing.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience with developing and implementing operational strategies and driving process improvements.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with MSOffice, ERP systems and manufacturing software tools.
  • Physical Requirements include: Twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 25 pounds. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment (copier/printer). Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
