About Our Team:

As part of the Research and Outreach group in Moody’s Ratings( MR), you will support the transformation through content, change management, and communications. You will work with the MR Research and Outreach team to develop messages and formats to support the overall communications and change management strategy.

Responsibilities:

The Research Manager is a talented practitioner focused on reinforcing our culture and keeping employees informed and engaged with the firm's priorities and strategic vision. You will support SVP-Strategy and Performance to execute the communications and change management strategy. As part of this role, you will develop key messages and explore delivery formats or channels that best resonate with the audience. You will be working closely with the MR Research and Outreach Leadership team as well as key partners across the organization.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for content development and delivery formats. Work with the Leadership team and key partners across the organization to execute communications and change management strategy.
  • Write targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, innovation success stories, people-related communications, organization announcements, as well as other timely messages.
  • Track and maintain the communications and change management pipeline / calendar to ensure that messages are sequenced appropriately and that key audiences are reached; advise MR Research and Outreach managers on sequencing communications and messaging.
  • Design, develop and implement standards for communications.
  • Design and maintain intranet sites to ensure that content is organized in a way that maximizes readership and viewership; draw on capabilities within the group to present engaging content.
  • Develop ways to measure the effectiveness of our communications and change management efforts and suggest improvements, where applicable.
  • Organize and execute key employee and senior leadership meetings, including team briefs, management meetings and workshops.


Qualifications:

  • Written and verbal English proficiency.
  • At least 5 years of communications experience, including hands-on writing, editing, presentation building, visual content development, and project management.
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to managers across levels, and executing strong communications and change management strategies.
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications
  • Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines.
  • A creative and innovative thinker.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with managers, peers and other functional groups across the company.
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility.
  • A team player who regularly seeks to learn from key partners and share best practices. A willingness to offer and ask for help as needed.


The ideal candidate would also have:

  • Experience in transformation communications and change management strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an organization with a global span
  • Experience with Intranet design, other design software, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
  • Demonstrated customer focus with experience on large-scale change and communications programs
  • Proven ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Industrial/Organizational Psychology degree or equivalent desired

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $78,500.00 - $113,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
