Clark University, a member of NCAA Division III and the NEWMAC, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Facilities and Operations. The Graduate Assistant will assist the Athletic Administration with the day-to-day operations of the department with a focus on Facility and Game management.

The Graduate Assistant position includes tuition remission, and an expected salary of $10,000 over the academic year. Weekly hours may vary.

Job Duties

  • Assist with the daily operations of the athletics and recreation department in collaboration with the Director of Athletics and Associate Athletic Director.
  • Oversee and supervise student building proctors to ensure proper facility coverage and oversight.
  • Serve as game manager for home athletic events, ensuring all facilities are properly prepared and staffed.
  • Coordinate facility scheduling for varsity athletics, recreational use, campus events, and external rentals.
  • Support the planning and execution of facility rentals, acting as the primary point of contact for designated internal and external rental groups.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the athletic administration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required and successful admission into Clark University’s graduate program.
  • Prior practical experience in athletics facility operations and management, and/or an understanding of the intercollegiate athletics landscape and its operational responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including student supervision and facility coordination.
