Position Summary:
Calvert’s Plant Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PR and Social Media
Coordinator who serves as a key public voice and storyteller for Calvert’s Plant
Interiors. This role is responsible for managing the company’s social media presence,
creating compelling content, developing advertising campaigns, and coordinating public
relations initiatives. With an eye for aesthetics and a passion for communication, you
will showcase Calvert’s interiorscape and holiday décor expertise while building
meaningful connections with the community and fostering brand loyalty. This position
also includes managing digital platforms, coordinating donations, writing newsletters,
and maintaining the company website.

Primary Responsibilities:
Capture and edit photos and videos for use on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok,
including posts, reels, and ads.

Maintain and update the company website (www.calverts.com) using Wix.
Track and coordinate donations to community organizations using Excel.
Support advertising initiatives and maintain partnerships with media and
promotional outlets.
Respond to client inquiries and messages on social media platforms.
Document installations by joining job crews to capture behind-the-scenes photo
and video content.
Take professional headshots of new employees.
Write and publish Calvert’s monthly employee newsletter and maintain the
company blog. Collaborate regularly with managers to plan and execute campaigns and
projects.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Experience in marketing and/or social media through work, internships, or
coursework.
A college degree or degree in progress in horticulture, marketing, or advertising
is a plus but not required.
Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.

Vehicle & Security Requirements:
Valid driver’s license required.
Some client sites may require additional security clearances.
Use of personal vehicle will be required (with mileage reimbursement).

Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in web design and editing using Wix or similar platforms.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
Experience with social media content creation and platform management.
Proficiency in using a professional camera to produce high-quality visual content. Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and complete tasks independently after
training.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing
projects.
Professional and confident communication skills when working with community
partners, media contacts, clients, and coworkers.

Compensation & Benefits

: Pay: Commensurate with experience, evaluated during the interview process
ay Period: Bi-monthly
