This position is integral to our practice and requires working closely with providers, clinical staff, and other lab team members.

Previous medical office or lab experience is preferred, and you must be able to pass a background check. Hours may vary but typically they are between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. There will likely be some weekends, after hours work, and long hours required of this position.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform semen analysis, cryopreservation, and preparation for IUIs in ART Laboratory and assist providers with fertility procedures.
  • Operate and maintain the Tosoh Immunoassay Analyzer and other lab equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely lab records.
  • Ensure compliance with all lab protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the lab team with general laboratory maintenance and supply tracking.
  • Under the supervision of the lab director, provide patients with information about their fertility treatments and procedures related to the lab.
  • Contact patients to check in on them, schedule appointments, relay test results and follow-up care instructions relevant to the lab.
  • Adhere to privacy regulations such as HIPPA and clinic protocols to ensure confidentiality and safety.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of clinic and exam rooms by regularly disinfecting surfaces, replacing linens, and restocking supplies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the lab director or practice manager.

Qualifications

  • Must have good communication, organization, attention to detail, and patient care skills.
  • At least 1 year experience working in a medical lab, clinic, or similar work environment.
