Objectives

  • Support digital marketing efforts with while ensuring alignment with company goals and branding
  • Oversee project management and task coordination across marketing and other departments
  • Write compelling copy that converts, maintaining consistency across platforms
  • Assist in designing and producing assets to support campaigns
  • Contribute to existing marketing programs, events, and new initiatives

Primary Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Support email and SMS marketing campaigns by writing copy, creating assets, building, and scheduling as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving automated email/SMS flows
  • Regularly analyze and report on key metrics such as email open rates, click-through rates, loyalty redemption, and conversion data.
  • Update website content (blog posts, event pages) and coordinate with the web designer for more complex needs.
  • Support loyalty program initiatives, monitor reward redemptions, and identify trends in customer behavior.

Project Management & Task Coordination

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring all deliverables are on schedule.
  • Communicate campaign goals, timelines, and deliverables to relevant teams and stakeholders. Facilitate inter-departmental meetings or updates as needed.
  • Maintain project management platform and marketing calendars to keep teams on track.
  • Coordinate promotional assets and monitor team progress.

Copywriting

  • Craft engaging, conversion-focused copy for a variety of channels, ensuring consistent brand voice and tone. Optimize content for search visibility.
  • Employ SEO best practices and targeted keywords to enhance content visibility while maintaining compliance with industry guidelines.
  • Proofread and edit for grammar, clarity, and brand alignment; maintain an organized library of marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to shape cohesive campaign strategies and storytelling.

Marketing Support

  • Disseminate marketing updates to internal teams. Track and document customer questions or concerns from staff feedback.
  • Manage ordering and inventory of swag and promotional items.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for product/print design and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support event planning, logistics, and day of event execution.
  • Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and propose workflow enhancements for greater efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing or similar position
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing
  • Proven copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience using platforms like Basecamp or Asana
  • Organized multitasker who can balance diverse projects and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to see the big picture
  • Working knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design tools
  • Excellent communication skills across teams and departments

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Alpine IQ
  • Intermediate to advanced graphic design skills (Adobe suite preferred)
  • Hands-on experience building email/SMS campaigns with drag-and-drop editors
  • Knowledge of cannabis products, consumer segments, and cannabis marketing nuances
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and creative approaches within the cannabis industry
  • Familiar with tools like Google Analytics, built-in email/SMS platform analytics, or other tracking systems
