Overview
We’re seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support our indirect sourcing initiatives within our warehousing and 3PL categories. This role is integral to driving cost-effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring quality and supply continuity across the organization. As part of the sourcing team, you’ll play a key role in executing the strategic vision for sourcing, contracting, and supplier management of goods and services.
To be considered for this role, candidates MUST have experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations specifically with warehousing vendors.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $85,000/year to $115,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed. Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, including supply market analysis, strategy development, RFP management, bid analysis, supplier negotiations, and more.
- Build strong relationships across business units to develop sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Manage supplier selection processes using market analysis, RFPs, eAuctions, and data-driven approaches.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts while ensuring proper document control practices.
- Oversee supplier relationships to ensure they meet quality, service, and cost requirements.
- Monitor category market trends and indexes to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus warehousing and 3PL functions.
- Certifications: CPSM (Certified Professional Supply Chain Manager) preferred; PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables), SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and contract management tools (Ariba, Oracle Contracts).
- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional negotiation, contract drafting, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables.
- Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to market insights and proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently while driving change management initiatives.
- eCommerce and warehouse capex experience strongly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
