Graphic Designer

A Brief Overview

Mission Aviation Fellowship seeks a talented graphic designer who has a passion for visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are dedicated to providing expert design solutions and productions for marketing materials, print publications, and digital platforms as an essential part of the work of MAF so that the Gospel is proclaimed and God's Kingdom is extended.

This position requires an active commitment to the mission, values, and doctrinal stance of MAF. In the course of performing job duties, the employee will act in a manner that is Christ-honoring as well as Christ-like, demonstrating a personal Christian faith and witness in all interpersonal interactions.

Essential Duties

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials and projects
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
• Update and maintain internal databases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 2 years of experience in professional graphic design required
• 1 year experience in preparation, presentation and follow-up of camera-ready art for commercial printing required

Skills

• Advanced skill in creative, artistic, and technical graphic and commercial art
• Advanced skill in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Intermediate knowledge/understanding of printing process
• Intermediate ability in communication and presentation skills
• Basic ability in organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines
• Basic knowledge/understanding of photography
• Basic skill in Figma
• Basic skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Basic skill in Project Management Software
