Leave of Absence & Benefits Administrator

Are you passionate about benefits and leave management with a knack for data and analytics? We’re looking for a Leave of Absence & Benefits Administrator to join our HR team and lead key benefit initiatives that impact employees across multiple states.

This is a hybrid or remote opportunity depending on the final candidate’s location from the company’s offices. Candidates near our Napa, CA or East Lansing, MI offices are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, disability, and other statutory or company-provided leaves
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issues
• Coordinate multi-state benefits compliance and administration
• Lead and execute the annual Open Enrollment process
• Partner with vendors, payroll, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of benefits and leave programs
• Analyze and report on benefits data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain benefits data integrity across HRIS and vendor systems
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
• 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and leave management
• Proven experience in facilitating multi-state leave of absence workflows and compliance
• Highly skilled in data manipulation, interpretation, and reporting (e.g., Excel, BI tools)
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• Experience managing Open Enrollment and working with benefits vendors
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of UKG or similar HRIS platforms
• CEBS or other HR/benefits-related certifications
  
  

Salary Range: $77,486 - $101,700

Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
