THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
This Demand & Conversion Analyst II advocates for the needs of our customers and serves as a go-to person for insights and strategic direction related to digital traffic and merchandising performance. They will work cross functionally to identify areas to improve site and app conversion based on a deep understanding of digital metrics, industry best practices, the target customer, the competitive landscape, our brands and business goals. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, eCommerce Demand & Conversion Strategy and will work closely with partners on Merchandising (eCommerce), Site Merchandising, Strategic Analytics, Merchandising Strategy, Digital Product Manager and Optimization teams to leverage data and drive to data-driven insights to optimize all aspects of the business.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Advocate for the needs of our guests and serve as a go-to person for insights and strategic direction related to digital traffic and merchandising performance, leveraging data and driving to improve eCommerce funnel from the start of the shopping experience to convert with purchase
- Analyze customer on-site & APP behavior to identify issues or opportunities and create recommendations for future optimizations.
- Analyze data from Ulta’s digital channel using tools such as Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics, and leverage Google Data Studio & Adobe Analytics Workspace to design and implement intuitive dashboards and visualizations that will help various product teams and stakeholders make better business decisions.
- Key partner to Digital Optimization team for eCommerce-led conversion rate optimization strategies as well as offer testing support; Contribute ideas for testing based on analysis of digital data and help build testing roadmap
- Partner with cross-functional partners by suppling insights on Personalization initiatives as we explore new methods to personalize each guest’s shopping experience on our site & APP
- Work closely with other Strategic & Digital Analytics team members to help drive complex analytical projects and tie guest’s digital interaction with various offline data signals.
- Distill data into clear, concise, and business friendly presentations that deliver insights that lead to actions. Deliver those presentations to various levels of audiences
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for other teams in the organization to drive their adoption & usage of digital data in their decision making.
- Work in a cross-functional capacity to enhance the customer experience, product assortment and Marketing strategies
- Measure, analyze, and report event, category and brand performance in partnership with Digital Merchandising & Merchandising Strategy teams
- Partner with key brand partners to provide insights about their digital business
- Create and share presentations about results, insights and recommendations
- Challenge the status quo and look for solutions outside what’s been done before

- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with an emphasis in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Merchandising, Marketing (with a quantitative focus), or related analytical degree or experience.
- 2+ years of relevant analytics experience with specialization in digital analytics.
- Experience working with digital and eCommerce data within Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, Financial or related industries.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MS Excel/PowerPoint, and/or Tableau preferred
- Capable of managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.
- Ability to work cross functionally to be a thought partner and drive the use of digital data among the organization.
- Must be able to see the “big picture” and be able to relate findings across various analyses.
- Strong sense of curiosity and storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Energetic and self-motivated - must be extremely organized and detail oriented with an ability to make proactive recommendations.
