As a Senior Product Manager - eCommerce, you’ll lead the strategy, development, and optimization of initiatives supporting our digital shopping experiences. You’ll own the product roadmap, drive cross-functional collaboration, and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance customer engagement and fuel business growth. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, leads without authority, and is passionate about building exceptional digital products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Product Vision
  • Define and execute a forward-thinking eCommerce product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends
  • Set clear objectives and priorities for cross-functional teams while mentoring product managers and analysts
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable product plans that drive measurable outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, research, and senior leadership to align on priorities and deliver seamless, consumer-first experiences
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams
  • Customer-Centric Innovation
  • Leverage insights from marketing, sales, and service to develop solutions that boost customer loyalty and drive revenue
  • Monitor KPIs and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation
  • Product Development & Execution
  • Lead the end-to-end development of digital products, from ideation to launch
  • Define product requirements, manage scope, and support change management and implementation
  • Conduct root cause analysis and proactively resolve issues to ensure product excellence
  • Continuous Improvement & Market Awareness
  • Stay ahead of eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Share insights and thought leadership to elevate team performance and product innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce product management with a proven track record of success
  • 5+ years of experience leading multiple projects in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proven solid analytical mindset with 5+ years of experience using data to influence product decisions
  • Proven excellent communication skills with 5+ years of experience and the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, managing product design, roadmaps, and full product lifecycles
  • 3+ years managing websites and/or mobile apps
  • 3+ years of solid experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and backlog management
  • 3+ years of experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and designing user flows/workflows
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with at least 3+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FinTech, healthcare, or health insurance industries
  • 3+ years of experience leading other product managers or product teams
  • Experience performing cost-benefit and risk analysis throughout the product lifecycle
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, or A/B testing tools for data analysis
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute product extensions to capture new market opportunities

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
