The Credit Analyst is responsible for assisting the Portfolio Managers and Loan Officers in the management of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio including underwriting, internal servicing and monitoring, and reporting.

Job Summary
The Credit Analyst is responsible for assisting the Portfolio Managers and Loan Officers in the management of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio including underwriting, internal servicing and monitoring, and reporting.
Essential Functions
- Assists Loan Officers or Portfolio Managers in the credit underwriting process by preparing financial statement spreads and other supporting documentation as necessary, including analysis of appropriate data per credit policy, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains credit files and exception tracking, including resolution for missing or expired financial information, borrowing base resolutions, account aging, and inventory listings; imaging financial statements and; preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly tracking reports.
- Manages a variety of routine administrative and reporting functions as assigned, including quarterly legal lending limit reports, policy exception tracking, and exposure monitoring reports.
- Provides credit administration support, as requested, but not limited to the following duties:
- Underwrites credit requests from Treasury Management including ACH/RDC and Business Credit Card Approvals
- Prepares monthly Swap monitoring report
- Prepares annual Swap counterparty analysis and underwriting for new exposure or changes to current exposures for Swap counterparties as needed
- Provides financials and required loan documentation on an ongoing post-close basis, quarterly, to non-affiliate Banks which have purchased loan participations
- Completes credit reference inquiries for commercial borrowers
- Participate in community events in support of our brand and culture.

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in the Banking industry or a combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong math skills with the ability to organize and analyze complex financial information.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with capability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
- Occasional travel to other bank locations, client location or workshop location.
