Would you be a great ABA Clinical Supervisor?

To excel as an ABA Clinical Supervisor at BIP Services, you'll need a combination of strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in various software tools is crucial for onboarding new insurance clients, conducting assessments, and writing individualized treatment plans and progress reports. You will be expected to perform behavioral assessments, obtain authorization for services, and submit appeals to insurance carriers. Your role will involve conducting in-person supervision, providing feedback to supervisees, and ensuring effective parent training sessions.

Expect to actively monitor client progress through performance evaluations while maintaining accurate documentation in our file server or learner's tree. Collaboration with Clinical Directors to develop client schedules is essential, as is the ability to conduct monthly team meetings and facilitate training sessions for your team. A commitment to delivering tailored, evidence-based strategies will be key in empowering clients and enhancing their journey toward success in their ABA therapy.

Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are

  • On-board new insurance clients
    • Conduct client intakes
    • Obtain an authorization for an initial assessment
    • Deliver client specific staff training
    • Communicate scheduling needs with Clinical Directors
  • Conduct behavioral assessments & skills assessments
  • Prepare assessment reports
  • Write individualized treatment plans & progress reports
  • Obtain authorization renewals
  • Submit appeals, as needed, to insurance carriers
  • Conduct in-person supervision for each client for at least two hours per every 10 hours of direct service provided
    • Provide BST
    • Provide feedback
    • Solicit feedback from supervisees
  • Write supervision notes
  • Review direct care session notes monthly: 1-2 notes per provider per client
  • Conduct parent training sessions providing BST
  • Oversee the development of client-specific training (didactic and hands-on)
  • Train team members on implementation of client-specific treatment plans
  • Store documents accurately (in the company file-server or in the learner's tree)
  • Performance monitoring
    • Evaluating client performance weekly
    • Update learners' trees in a timely manner (making accurate data-driven decisions)
  • Prepare for and conduct monthly team meetings
    • Train fellows to assist with team meetings as appropriate
  • Coordinate with Clinical Directors to develop client schedules according to client and provider availability
