Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Analyst I to support logistics and supply chain operations for our client. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in logistics who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic government contracting environment. The Logistics Analyst I will support a wide range of daily operational and administrative functions related to inventory, material handling, order processing, data entry, and customer service. This role is hands-on, requiring attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures.

The Logistics Analyst I will support a wide range of daily operational and administrative functions related to inventory, material handling, order processing, data entry, and customer service. This role is hands-on, requiring attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day store operations including receiving, processing, and issuing materials.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Process and track requisitions, orders, product returns, and corrections in GSA’s POS and OMS systems.
- Provide professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Conduct data entry and file management (manual and electronic).
- Support inventory control, order fulfillment, product placement, and stock audits.
- Scan and process materials, validate order accuracy, and support price and product challenges.
- Assist with generating reports (sales, inventory, transaction history) as needed.
- Comply with GSA’s standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and processing guides.
- Collaborate with vendors and customers for order status updates, inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or administration.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office and the ability to type 40 wpm.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
