Leads the analytics function for the Business & Economic Development department to improve execution and drive growth in the Entergy Louisiana (ELL) service territory. Serve as a central point of contact for requests for data and information regarding ELL’s managed industrial accounts. Support 11 account executives and Director, Industrial Accounts, with portfolios representing approximately 100 large industrial customers and hundreds of individual accounts. Design and deploy systems and process for data accuracy, access, and reporting for the Industrial Accounts team, which assists in securing new and retained AGM.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Position reports to Vice President, Business & Economic Development, however, a matrix-ed collaboration with industrial account executives, project managers, and Entergy analysts is required.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position.
Bachelor’s degree or previous work experience. MBA preferred. Undergrad major in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems & Decision Sciences is desired.
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.
Desired: Master's Degree.
Minimum Experience Required Of The Position.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a team environment. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of PC operations and software.

Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Conducts complex business and financial analysis based on project scope and objectives and develops policy recommendations to management based on findings.
- Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adheres to requirements.
- Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
- Interacts with department management and may interact with leadership throughout the organization to identify issues that warrant future projects.
- Mentors junior analysts in project management, goal setting and other related areas.
- Stays abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy policy decision making.
- Ongoing top industrial sales results analysis (monthly, quarterly, annually) covering market segment trends, base customer growth and variances to forecasts.
- Assist in the development and management of department’s strategic annual business plan, aligning department goals & tactics with the vision of the company.
- Facilitate meetings with strategic teams ensuring department’s strategic plan execution and recap accomplishments in monthly lead team with Vice President, B&ED.
- Create dynamic presentations and external communications for the Industrial Accounts team in preparation for executive meetings, with attention to consistent company branding and important messages.
- Effectively prepare team for internal meetings and other cyclical events like load forecasting, sales variances, storm season preparations, Salesforce CRM & Capital Projects meetings; maintaining collaborative and harmonious relationships with other internal departments.
- Departmental Subject Matter Expert on several internal software products and tools such as CCS, EpochField, Google Earth Pro, SharePoint, Salesforce CRM, Business Warehouse, PowerBI dashboards.
- Coordinate and deliver regular and ad hoc data requests and communications regarding managed accounts and pipeline projects, as well as management of Industrial Accounts’ project pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
- Assist Industrial Account Executives with preparation of annual/quarterly reviews for portfolio customers.
