This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage people, systems, and performance metrics while maintaining a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Lead and manage daily operational activities (e.g., production, scheduling, maintenance, and tool room).
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and increase output.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Partner with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery to customers.
- Develop and coach team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, training, consumables, and resource planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, budgets, and capacity planning.
- All other duties assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
