Responsibilities

This Program Manager role is responsible for enhancing campus operations by managing projects that improve mobility and automate services. Key responsibilities include overseeing campus mobility projects, implementing automation initiatives, improving parking and facilities services, and ensuring compliance with licensure requirements. The strategic goals of this role are to streamline campus operations, support campus growth and development, ensure regulatory adherence, facilitate collaboration on mobility projects, and address vehicular accidents on campus. This position is essential for fostering strategic partnerships and supporting campus development, particularly by building relationships with the local transit authority and engaging in city initiatives.

The Program Manager - Facilities Management provides leadership, management, coordination, and direction for all assigned programs and is responsible for operational performance ensuring the needs of Facilities Management are achieved. Manages assigned program’s performance, coordinates resources and balances workload to achieve objectives and strategies. Works with Section Head, Operations Manager, Unit Head, Supervisors, Assistant Supervisors, Facilities Management staff, and others outside of the division in the development and execution of strategic plans, programmatic coordination, and process improvement opportunities. Provides subject-matter expertise regarding each program and represents Facilities Management to internal and external stakeholders. Independently leads problem-solving and decision-making activities (in alignment with Facilities Management leadership), within the program scope and change management process continuously assessing risks and implementing actions to accomplish goals. Continually evaluates processes and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency, while ensuring quality improvement efforts. Participates in meetings, work sessions and presentations to ensure timely communication. Accountable for the achievement of program goals, objectives and timelines. Determines and establishes programmatic stakeholder relationships and communication plans. Manages/coordinates multiple complex programs including both internal and external customers. Develops program strategy, program planning, implementation plan(s) and program metrics. Ensures high quality and minimum program costs by implementing and maintaining a quality management program across all programs.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s in management, business administration, health care administration, clinical care, and related field and 6 years of related experience; OR Master’s degree in management, business administration, health care administration, clinical care, or related field and 4 years related experience required. Working knowledge of hospital/clinical practice / operations, data management, timeline / project management, computer / related systems are required. Must have demonstrated competencies in strategic and systems thinking, business acumen, decision making, leading people, change management, influence without authority and communication skills. Must have the ability to independently manage varied workload programs and assignments with multiple priorities in a continuously changing environment. Must have strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated effectiveness in management and group dynamics including conflict resolution and problem solving. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required.
