You will be responsible for identifying process improvements, marketing strategies, and training opportunities that enhance the effectiveness of community marketing and admissions teams. Through the consultative process, you will work with community leadership to plan and execute strategies that attain or exceed established census goals. This role also oversees the development of community-level marketing plans and tracks key performance indicators to ensure that community teams are achieving their goals.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Marketing Consultant will support, train, and mentor community Directors of Marketing and Admissions. You will be responsible for identifying process improvements, marketing strategies, and training opportunities that enhance the effectiveness of community marketing and admissions teams. Through the consultative process, you will work with community leadership to plan and execute strategies that attain or exceed established census goals. This role also oversees the development of community-level marketing plans and tracks key performance indicators to ensure that community teams are achieving their goals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train and mentor community Directors of Marketing and Admissions (DOMAs) to ensure they have the skill set and understanding to effectively represent our organization in their community.
- Make routine site visits ensuring that established company standards for census development activities are upheld and executed effectively, including but not limited to weekly marketing meetings, competitor analyses, CRM maintenance, 30-5-40 program, etc.
- Perform side-by-side marketing visits with Directors for Marketing and Admissions to ensure they have a sound understanding of sales / relationship building fundamentals.
- Exemplify our census-focused culture in both word and deed.
- Collaborate with community Executive Directors to vet and interview candidates for vacant Director of Marketing and Admissions positions.
- Consult with Executive Directors in assessing Director of Marketing and Admissions performance and creating development plans for identified weaknesses.
- Assist in making, implementing, and updating quarterly community marketing plans.
- Plan and coordinate marketing activities for newly acquired locations in your assigned region.
- Perform first impressions tours and make recommendations to community leaders based upon your findings.
- Analyze key performance indicators and provide targeted education when negative trends are identified.
- Track and report on admission and census data for your assigned communities.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of Marketing or Admissions experience in Long-term Care
- Experience leading work teams and / or coaching others to success
- Thorough understanding of the Director of Marketing and Admissions role and work flows common to the intake process within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Experienced in the development and implementation of community marketing plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
