Job Overview:
The Laboratory Assistant provides essential technical support to lab scientists in a fast-paced research environment. Key responsibilities include managing study data and documentation, supporting the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, overseeing supply inventory, and ensuring lab workspaces remain safe, organized, and clean.

Job Overview:
The Laboratory Assistant provides essential technical support to lab scientists in a fast-paced research environment. Key responsibilities include managing study data and documentation, supporting the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, overseeing supply inventory, and ensuring lab workspaces remain safe, organized, and clean.
Additional tasks:
- Keep laboratories organized and clean, including glassware washing and disposition of biowaste per departmental SOPs.
- Daily checks for proper documentation and compliant labeling of reagent containers.
- Assist in document scanning and other duties for project staff as needed.
- Assist in receipt and log-in of all samples.
- Arrange sample destruction when advised by the Sponsor.
- Maintain appropriate documentation to demonstrate positive control of study-related materials with guidance.
- Perform all tasks in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Respond to deviations and audit findings, as necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
We're seeking individuals who have strong communication skills with attention to detail who thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Associate degree in related field or equivalency (60 or more college credit hours) in related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs meticulously.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment.
