Short Description
Administers, implements, and supports Cooper Health System Revenue Cycle policies and
procedures.
Identified policy area that require review; updates, organize and maintains policies for all
areas of the revenue cycle, including patient access, billing, charge capture, coding,
medical records, point of service and central business office cash collections, and payment
posting.
Maintains on-line policy manuals; keeps manual current based upon changes to regulations
or policy; arranges regular review and revisions as necessary; ensures distribution and/or
communication of policies to affected personnel.
Performs revenue cycle process assessments in ambulatory and hospital point of care
sites, centralize scheduling and access business services units; identifies opportunities to
standardize and/or centralize work flow, improves processes, optimize resources, and
improves the patient experience.
Plans, documents and implements data-driven solutions.
Manages comprehensive Registration Integrity system and related quality assurance
program.
Experience Required
Significant experience in health care revenue cycle operational standards, policy and procedure development; process design and assessment; and data management, reporting and analysis.
Broad experience working with multiple health system departments, administrators, and operational managers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Special Requirements
Computer expertise to administer web-based policy management system.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio.
