Project Coordinator

Description

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sheet metal industry leader, is hiring a dependable and detailed Construction Accountant. The primary focus of the role will be construction admin support at the project level, and processing craft payroll.

Responsibilities

• Prepares billings for designated construction projects. Provides job/billing support to additional support staff
• Reviews job estimates, contracts, and change orders are entered accurately in our accounting software
• Inputs, reviews and transmits branch craft payroll
• Reviews under/overbillings, participates in the collections of accounts receivable, and assists with any job specific accounts payable issues
• Assists Project Managers with finding job information, reports and researching job cost errors
• Aids in additional administrative functions and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting related field
• Construction accounting experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Problem solving ability
